Their tea specialists make it an art form to ensure the production of the best matcha with care and passion, and they especially emphasize the importance of the best raw ingredients possible to reach the perfect taste.

A bold but pleasant usucha tea offering an experience of fresh, tender, green flavors together with a hint of astringency and a touch of creaminess. Use 80-85°C water to prepare the tea, as more astringent flavors become dominant at lower temperatures.

The meaning of Matsukaze "松風" :
The compound "Matsukaze" is made up of "pine" and "wind" respectively. During tea ceremonies, the sound of the boiling water in the tea kettle is likened to the wind blowing through a pine forest.
